Morning Webs

The morning after a rain is absolutely beautiful on the bog near the cabin. You can see hundreds of these little webs dripping with droplets of water on the bog plants. I was able to snap about five photos this morning before I thought the mosquitoes would carry me away. The sun (and warmth) is set to return tomorrow. For July 1st, a high of 52 degrees just doesn't seem right!

Words of Wisdom

This poem was found in my 96 year old Grandfather's wallet after he passed in 2008. It was written in 1965 by Walter D. Wintle.

"The Man Who Thinks He Can"

If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think that you dare not, you don't,

If you'd like to win, but you think you can't

It's almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost.
