
This statue stands at the Wisconsin State Capitol, State Street Entrance. It's a replica of the original, which was removed from its Hamilton Street location back in 1998 due to exposure to the elements. It's now located at the State Historical Society. You can read more about Forward,

Here's a shot of Forward from behind. (As always, click to enlarge.) Today, she presides over Madison's Art Fair on the Square. It was a beautiful day for the event. Laura and I drank plenty of Citrus Bombs (an orange juice/lemonade combo) and finished our laps in about six hours. A new record for us!
