Today, Calvin and I went to see the latest Harry Potter movie. Unfortunately, my camera was not in my purse. My iphone (with camera) was also not in my purse. When we got home, he agreed it would have been nice to blog about the movie with a photo from the theater. So instead, he agreed to cast a spell in the backyard, for the sake of the blog, and for shutter speed practice for my photography class.
The shot (above) was among the first few shots I took. It was OK, but when I loaded it onto the computer, I wasn't sure I liked that his face was out of focus. (The wand movement was intentional).
So I hauled the poor kid back outside for more shots. 50 shots later, I'm still not satisfied. But he disarmed my camera with the Expelliarmus charm. I can't take any more pictures until tomorrow. The movie, by the way, was terrific!
