Paul was finished with work early today. And we're not talking 4pm...we're talking noon. This was nice, since he worked from 6am 'til 10pm yesterday. So, Paul and I went out to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants in Duluth. It's called
Va Bene and they have seating overlooking the Lake. It's really one of the few restaurants in town with a great view like this. We had our lunch and the whole time he's just itchin' to get out and fish. "Look at how many ice houses are out there! Do you want to go fishing?" he asked. "No," was my flat response. (duh.)
Now we're home and he says he can't go fishing because he doesn't have a shelter, and the fish need it to be dark. If there's no shelter, there's a "beacon of light" going through the hole in the ice, and fish won't come to the light.
Sounds like somebody's making a pitch for a shelter for their 42nd birthday...doesn't it?
