*click the picture to see banner detailThe streets looked pretty deserted last night. And that has been normal for what we've experienced the night before the Grandma's Marathon. The bars and restaurants will really be hopping tonight. Post race festivities get a bit crazy.
Last night, a dark and heavy fog rolled in, it was cool and humid, and local forecasters had a pretty dismal outlook for the start of the race this morning. But I tell you, this morning, it is absolutely gorgeous outside. It's probably a bit too humid for running a 26.2 mile race, but I certainly don't know that from personal experience.
I had to click to find out why it was called the Grandma's marathon. Nice street scene. Hope the marathon went well.
