Giggle Bot

This is Mason's creation. He made it today in Science Camp. When you touch the black wire to the back of the battery (covered by the duct tape), the yellow propellor spins and the robot dances in circles across the floor.

I can't wait to see what he does in camp tomorrow!

It's great when kids have a chance to tinker - to understand how things work and to create new things.

Words of Wisdom

This poem was found in my 96 year old Grandfather's wallet after he passed in 2008. It was written in 1965 by Walter D. Wintle.

"The Man Who Thinks He Can"

If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think that you dare not, you don't,

If you'd like to win, but you think you can't

It's almost certain you won't.
