Blizzard Conditions

The schools held out for a change and no classes were cancelled today. I'd say we only have about 5 inches on the ground so far (though some drifts are above my knee in spots). We'll see what happens in the next several hours. The boys may get one more snow day yet!

We have been lucky here with an early spring. April tomorrow and barely a trace of snow. I'm shivering along with you looking at this. The picture says it all

This poem was found in my 96 year old Grandfather's wallet after he passed in 2008. It was written in 1965 by Walter D. Wintle.
