This zig-zag trim surrounds our garage. When we built the garage last year, we knew it had to have the same treatment as the house. The house has a band of the zig-zag around each level. We've learned the trim was the "signature" of the architect who built it back in 1906. Last spring, the local preservation alliance noticed our efforts and presented us with an award. Nice!
I want to experiment with this shot a little bit more, so you may see something similar later in the year. I'd also like to learn photoshop so I can remove the neighbor's window (but it might be easier for me to wait and shoot it again when they're on vacation-haha).
