A Tough Job

This is the Hartley Building, located on East Superior Street in Duluth. It was built back in 1914 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

I've seen these folks up on this roof for months. I sure don't envy them with that pitch!

The project to replace the slate roof began back in late June or early July, I think, and isn't supposed to be finished until November. You should see the size of the slate tiles...they're huge!
