The lake looked like glass for most of the morning. I was able to walk out onto the bog and get some nice shots! I also took a walk to the tree where Calvin found a whole stack of fungi earlier this year. It doesn't look like much today. This is what the tree looked like back in July!
Mason was on a mission this afternoon. Armed with 13 quarters of his own money, we headed to the mall gumball machines for these tiny little animals. Each one comes in its own 1-inch clear capsule. The kids in his class are trading with each other, and I guess it's lots of fun. I understand this fad much more than the Pokemon craze. Come on...you have to admit they are pretty cute! You should see the tiny little cow! Unfortunately, he'll have to try again some other time for that one.
Four days in a row I've had my ISO set too high. I keep forgetting to go in and change it, so my pictures are quite grainy. After all these photography classes, I guess I'm learning it was much easier when I kept my camera set on Auto mode!
This blog began in January of 2009 as a 365 project. I successfully posted a photo each & every day. As the blog continues, I will not post daily, (I can't take the pressure!) but plan to continue updating here with good photos when I take them, or when we have family news to share. Thanks for checking in with us!
